President Mauricio Macri visited the headquarters of the company ENERGE in Mendoza, a local SME that develops solar water heaters and solar electrical systems powered by the sun. The visit was recorded in the official activity section of the website of the Presidency of the Argentine Nation.

The tour was part of a visit schedule to innovative Mendocan companies, framed within the inauguration of a section of National Route 40. The president was accompanied by Governor Alfredo Cornejo.

Energe: Mendocan solar SME

Energe was founded in 2007 in the business incubator of the National University of Cuyo. Since 2007, it has positioned itself in the national market as a specialist in comprehensive solar thermal and photovoltaic energy solutions.

The company installed the solar water heater at the presidential residence Quinta de Olivos in August 2016, following a phone call from Macri himself to co-founder Alexis Atem. The presidential visit in 2019 marked the recognition of that relationship and the sustained growth of the Maipú-based SME.
