We completed a new stage at the Reciclados Plásticos SRL plant, located in the province of San Juan. This is the expansion of the photovoltaic project that we originally began in 2020, a strategic step that consolidates the company's strong commitment to operational efficiency and sustainability.
Power and System Configuration
⚡️ In this recent expansion, our engineering team implemented a high-performance solution consisting of 340 high-efficiency monocrystalline solar panels equipped with half-cell PERC technology. These modules guarantee superior performance even under conditions of high temperatures or extreme radiation—typical of the San Juan climate—while also minimizing shading losses. To manage this energy optimally, a robust configuration of 5 commercial inverters was designed:
- 4 Fronius Eco Inverters of 27 kW: Extremely robust units (IP66 protection) designed specifically for large-scale commercial projects. Their transformerless topology and integration of string fuses make them exceptionally safe and efficient, ideal for managing large volumes of distributed load and ensuring high plant availability under severe industrial conditions.
- 1 Fronius Verto Inverter of 33.3 kW: A highly versatile three-phase unit that stands out for its advanced multiple Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) algorithm. This inverter provides unmatched flexibility, being capable of optimally managing asymmetrical loads and offering additional immediate response capacity to the demand peaks of the plastic recycling process.
With this combination of equipment, we achieved a balanced, highly efficient electrical system with significant generation capacity, specially adapted to the intensive consumption profiles that characterize the plastics recycling industry.

In this way, an energy infrastructure designed specifically to support industrial demand is consolidated. The direct result for Reciclados Plásticos SRL is a much more efficient plant, with optimized operating costs that make it more competitive in its sector, and a drastically reduced carbon footprint.
